" A British Flora" Plate Celebrating Nature. Description: Measuring 10" in diameter, this romantic, circa 1860 transfer deep soup plate has a gleaming glaze with a 3/8" glaze shallow glaze chip on the back (not seen at all from front), a small footrim chip, and a 1 1/2" stable fissure on the back, very faintly seen from the front upon careful inspection. Peonies, a butterfly and a garland border complete this elegant design.
