A Mid 19th century Gothic Blue and White Transferware Plate

Presented in the Wonderful " Friburg" Pattern. Potted by George Phillips of Longport, UK. A Large 10 1/2 Inch Dinner Plate exemplifying Staffordshire Romanticism. With a Wonderful Combination of both Dark and Light Blue along the Rim, the plate has a Cream White Ground. With Some Edge Wear and a Few Spots of Browning in the Well and Browning Along the Back Rim, the Plate Displays Nicely and Holding It in Hand it is Solid, feeling very Utilitarian. No chips or cracks. A Solid Example.
